The International Moose Convention is approaching quickly. There will be two Heart of the Community initiatives planned for OKC: donations of money and needed items to the OK Kids Korral, founded by The Toby Keith Foundation and a blood drive in support of the local community.
The OK Kids Korral helps make life a little easier for children with cancer by providing a safe, convenient, and hopeful place for families to connect with each other and focus on the well-being of their child. OK Kids Korral provides daytime and overnight lodging for pediatric patients and their families. The state of the art facilities at OK Kids Korral are designed to create a relaxing haven for the entire family.
The Moose HOC Committee will be taking donations at their booth near the registration area in the convention center. All checks should be made out to OK Kids Korral and wish list items (see attached list) may also be dropped off at the booth.
The blood drive will occur on Thursday, July 2nd in the convention center. Additional details will be available later on the Moose International website in the convention section and in Official Communications closer to the event.
Please try and give to either the OK Kids Korral or at the Blood Drive. Let’s show the people of Oklahoma what Moose members do to be the Heart of the Community!
