“We put together a solid weekend at Phoenix (Raceway) in the No. 1 Chevrolet. We stayed towards the front in track position all day and made small adjustments. We went through the range of weather from starting overcast and cooler to the sun coming out and it really heating up. It feels good to leave Phoenix with a ninth-place finish and have a good day overall.” – Ross Chastain
This week Ross heads to Talladega Superspeedway for the YellaWood 500. Chastain’s had success there in Alabama as he won his first race in the Moose Fraternity Chevrolet in 2022.
Members can follow the YellaWood 500 this Sunday, October 25th, starting at 2:00pm ET. The race will be broadcast on CBS. Despite Chastain being eliminated from the playoffs, he continues to race in the remaining Cup Series races with a chance to win each week for the remainder of the season.
