At a recent meeting, the Grand Council unanimously approved the 2024-2025 Grand Regent’s Project. In honor of Grand Regent Verna Miller, the Women of the Moose have pledged $150,000 for new bedroom furniture at Mooseheart. Upon discussion with Executive Director Gary Urwiler, several of our family-style homes are in need of an upgrade. Director Urwiler has requested new bedroom furniture at $1,500 per room as well as all furniture for three complete living rooms at the cost of $5,000 each.
Women of the Moose Headquarters will not assess or bill chapters, as we encourage each unit to give as their hearts desire and their operations can support. However, if every Chapter donated just $250 by May 15, 2025, we would reach our $150,000 goal quickly and easily. That’s approximately $42.00 per month per chapter. Checks should be made payable to Moose Charities, earmarked 24-25 Grand Regent’s Project and mailed to Moose Charities, 155 S. International Drive, Mooseheart, IL 60539-1100.
The 2023-2024 Grand Regent’s Project raised $162,251 for the Ohio Residence at Moosehaven. Thank you for your generosity and continued support.
