There is no better way to help the youth of the Fraternity than to offer them the opportunity to further their education, and that is exactly what the Moose “Heart of the Community” Scholarship is all about.
Since 1986, the Moose Fraternity has awarded scholarships to deserving students, recognizing their academic efforts and extracurricular efforts as well as honoring the lodges to which these students are affiliated. The students whose names are listed on these pages have been awarded 2021 Heart of the Community scholarships.
Applications for the 2022 Heart of the Community scholarships are now being accepted, with a deadline of June 30, 2021. Applicants must be members of the graduating class of 2022; must have a father, mother, step-parent, grandparent or legal guardian who is a current member of the Moose; and must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale or equivalent verified by a copy of the student’s transcript. Meeting these criteria qualifies a student for a chance to win a $1,000 scholarship. If the student is involved in in-school or extracurricular activities or if the student is involved in various out of school activities, the student qualifies for a chance to win a $5,000 scholarship.
