As I sit here thinking about what to say to such a fine group of Fraternalists, my eye catches all the decorations my lovely wife spent three days putting up, and I realize what a special time of year it is. I think back to when I was a child and how excited I was to see what Santa had brought and the expression on my little sister’s face whenever she opened a gift. Then there was the look of pure delight on my parents’ faces and they had not even opened a gift. These many years later, I know what they were feeling. Bringing joy into the world of our young is the best feeling of all. I would like to thank each and every one for all that you do for our children at Mooseheart and our seniors at Moosehaven, not only at this time of year, but for each and every day. I don’t think you realize just how important the time you spend volunteering and the money and items you donate play a part in helping so many. The joy of giving lives strong in you all.
I would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for all you have done and for what you are going to do in the future.
