Those who attend the 25 Club/Fun Night on Saturday night at the Milwaukee Convention had better be prepared to laugh heartily and be musically entertained.
This year’s headliner for the event is American English, one of the best Beatles tribute bands in the U.S. Performing on vintage instruments with accurate costume changes, the quartet covers songs from the entire Beatles career. Moose who attended the Mooseheart Centennial in 2013 will remember American English’s stellar performance and it is sure to be every bit as incredible this summer.
Comedian Bob Nelson will also entertain the 25 Club/Fun Night crowd. Nelson has made audiences laugh since the 1970s. Nelson, who was the opening act for Rodney Dangerfield for eight years and idolized legendary comedian Red Skelton, has had a pair of television specials on HBO. Nelson stopped using swear words in his routines many year ago following a meeting with Skelton and now specializes in “clean comedy.”
Moose members who attend this year’s convention will also have the opportunity to attend a free concert on Sunday night by Bohemian Queen, a Queen tribute band. This is more than just a “Freddie” show: the entire band consists of world-class musicians, performers and vocalists. This is a show you won’t want to miss featuring all of the classic Queen hits.
Preferred seating for this event will be given to League of Guardian members.
