New Mecca 9 Moose Legionnaires Take Oath at Mooseheart on Illinois Day

> More than 180 Moose Legionnaires from Mecca Moose Legion 9 came to the Mooseheart campus during Illinois Day on Saturday, Sept. 10, to watch 18 Moose members take the next step in the fraternity to join the Moose Legion.

Supreme Governor Ron Sweetman enjoyed the day and also spoke to new Moose Legionnaires during the enrollment

Moose Legion International President Bob Neff explained the importance of the Moose Legion to the Moose fraternity, urging them to enroll new members of the degree of service.



While the Moose Legion enrollment was certainly the highlight of Illinois Day, the event also featured the return of the kid-friendly clowns from Belleville, IL Lodge 1221 who again created animal balloons and painted children’s faces




Children enjoyed finding out just how flexible they are during a limbo contest.




Swamp Fox Moose Legion 74 Earns Director’s Key Club Status


Swamp Fox Moose Legion

> Swamp Fox Moose Legion 74 is the first in the state of South Carolina to earn Director’s Key Club status. A special “key” lapel pin is awarded to members of Moose Legion Boards of Directors who set a membership-promotion example for other members of the Degree of Service. Each member of a Moose Legion Board must sponsor and have enrolled two new or former members between May 1 and April 30 of each year in order for the entire Board to earn this distinctive honor.
