A Mix of Remembrance, Relaxation on Illinois Day September 11
> Illinois Day traditionally draws roughly 1,000 Moose men and women from throughout the state of Illinois on the second Saturday in September. This year, that fell on Saturday, Sept. 11, so the days activities were begun with a third-anniversary observance of respect for those who lost their lives during the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001.
