Degree of Service Ritual Competition & Conference Set for Santa Clara, CA
> The 40th International Moose Legion Ritual Competition & Conference hosted by Golden Spot Moose Legion 15 will be held Nov. 9-12, 2006 in Santa Clara, CA.
There are plenty of activities that are designed to please each and every Moose Legionnaire. Some of the highlights of the events include:
- A 4-person Modified Scramble

A trip to the Santa Clara Golf & Tennis Club
Prices and further information to come.
- Cribbage tournament at Sunnyvale, CA Lodge 2049 from 11 a.m. to completion for singles and partners. The cost is $20 per person (members must pre-register and lunch is included). There will also be cash prizes.
- A scenic bus tour will be held Saturday, Nov. 11 beginning at 9 a.m. and ending at 6 p.m. There will be five stops in Santa Cruz and Capitola. Call San Jose, CA Lodge 401 for reservations at (408) 238-3212.
- Casino Night at San Jose, CA Lodge 401 beginning at 4 p.m.
Registration must be received by Oct. 15.

Carl Lauta Receives Moose Legion Life Membership for 50 Years of Service
> Carl Lauta, a member of Newport, NH Lodge 1236, was the recipient of a Moose Legion Life Membership for 50 years of service to the Degree of Service during a celebration at the Lodge recently.
