A ‘Fashionable’ Night at Arizona City

> Arizona City, AZ Chapter 2201, with the support of Lodge 1038, held a Star Recorder Style Show and Luncheon. The event raised money for the Chapter’s “Adopt-a-Family” project, and also resulted in five new members!


Tehachapi, CA Lodge 1678/Chapter 1885 Unveils “Kids’ Friendly Korner”

> Tehachapi, CA Lodge 1678 and Chapter 1885 unveiled their new “Kids’ Korner” last September, which features a life-sized animal mural, plus popular games such as foosball, a pool table, television/VCR and a snack area. The room even was promoted in a local newspaper. Members’ children above clearly love “their” new room!


Staff Sgt. Officer Presents Ottawa, IL Lodge 960/Chapter 522 with American Flag

> U.S. Army Staff Sgt. Leonore Jimenez presented Ottawa, IL Lodge 960 and Chapter 522 with an American flag that had been carried in an F-15E A492 Strike Eagle aircraft during the bombing campaign in Iraq. The flag was presented in appreciation of the packages of toiletries and cards which had been sent to Sgt. Jimenez’s squadron in Iraq. Flanking the Sergeant at left are Chapter Senior Regent Nancy Washkowiak and Lodge Governor David Stafford.


‘Parrotheads’ Take Over Chicora, PA Lodge 962/Chapter 313

> No, this is not a Jimmy Buffet concert; rather, it’s a bunch of festive “Parrothead” Moose members at Chicora, PA Lodge 962/ Chapter 313, during their annual luau. Judging from the smiles on these faces, the event was a huge success!


On Your Mark. . .

> Winter Haven, FL Lodge 1023/Chapter 1152 sponsored an Easter Egg Hunt for the children of Lodge members and guests. The day also featured tug-of-war contests, water-balloon tosses—and sack races, where Lodge Governor Jim Parrett served as the official starter.


Born to be . . .Generous!

> Moose Lodges in District 10 of the Pennsylvania Moose Association, including Youngwood 23, Herminie 981, Latrobe 95, Greensburg Lodge 1151/Chapter 2203, and Scottdale Lodge 194/Chapter 1037 coordinated their efforts for the first annual Moose Run for Kids—a benefit ride/poker run to raise funds for Mooseheart Child City & School. The event drew some 225 participants and 40 volunteers, and raised $662.76. Members of the Hunt Club, ABATE and the American Legion Riders Association also took part in the ride.


Marion, NC Lodge 1705/Chapter 448 Participates in Holiday Parade

> Marion, NC Lodge 1705 and Chapter 448 participated in a community Christmas parade with a volunteer-decorated float, which over the course of the parade carried close to 60 members of the Lodge and Chapter. In addition, numerous children and grandchildren of Lodge members also enjoyed riding on the float.
