2 Appearances on Chicago TV, Major Piece in Chicago Tribune

The mid-November visit from WGN-TV’s effervescent Ana Belaval included a brief segment in from at Centennial Moose Plaza.
> Active efforts during 2006 by Mooseheart and Moose International to generate positive attention to our endeavors from major news media began to bear fruit during the last six weeks of the year, with the airing of broadcasts featuring Mooseheart on Chicago television stations WGN Channel 9 and WTTW Channel 11; an extensive feature piece on Mooseheart’s history and present-day in the Chicago Tribune, the nation’s seventh-largest newspaper--as well as a scouting-out visit from producers from a top-rated national television show.

In mid-November the campus was visited by WGN Morning News reporter Ana Belaval, whose interviews ran throughout the morning broadcast on Nov. 22. On Nov. 28 (and several subsequent repeat showings), Mooseheart received generous play in an Illinois Fox River Valley travelogue by host Geoffrey Baer on WTTW, Chicago’s PBS affiliate. Then on Sunday evening, Dec. 10, ten Mooseheart representatives appeared extensively on a live WTTW broadcast, answering pledge-drive phones.
