Yuba City, CA Lodge 1204/Chapter 1089 perform Golden Ball Ceremony
> Moose Legionnaires performed the Moose Golden Ball Ceremony at Yuba City, CA, Lodge 1204/Chapter 1089 for 250 members and guests from seven Lodges in Sacramento Valley District 4. The Golden Ball Ceremony is a traditional Moose fable dating back nearly 90 years, which describes how helping a child in need uplifts us all. Assistant Regional Manager Reggie Olney was guest speaker and Robert Sibinski, past president of the California/Nevada Moose Association, was also in attendance. Yuba City Moose Legion Secretary, Ed Davis narrated the Golden Ball Story and was chairman of the event.

Pilgrim John Weibert of Greeley-Evans, CO Lodge 909 (here with his wife Willie) was presented with a 50-year Life Member card during the Colorado Moose Association State Conference held in Ft. Collins last September. Colorado Moose Association Past President Harry L. Johnston (behind the Weiberts at the mike) also presented Weibert with a special plaque for 50 consecutive years of attendance at the annual Colorado Moose Association State Conference.

Mothers and daughters have proved the board of officers for the Racine, WI Chapter 631 is truly a family affair. In the back row are Jr. Regent Cheryl Buchaklain, Secretary Mary Schrank, Recorder Linda Poluff. Daughters in the front row are Chaplin Amy Buchaklain, Senior Regent LeAnn Schrank and Junior Graduate Regent Nicole Poluff-Laux.

Youth Helping Youth: Otsego, MI Lodge 345/Chapter 672 Youth Group Presents a $1,000 Check to Benefit Mooseheart

Otsego, MI Lodge 345/Chapter 672 Youth Group
> The Otsego Moose Youth of Otsego, MI Lodge 345/Chapter 672 presented a check for $1,000 to Mooseheart during a visit. Women of the Moose Grand Chancellor Jan Fregulia (in yellow in back, with her husband Frank) gratefully accepted the check from the enthusiastic students. The group earned their money by holding a steak-and-shrimp dinner at the Otsego Moose Center on the second Saturday of each month. They also have a bake/craft sale once a year. According to their advisor Linda McEwan, the group wants to communicate with the Mooseheart students more, via penpal arrangements or “adopting” a Mooseheart student under the Sunshine Program.

> The “Clowning Around Clowns” of Port St. Lucie, FL Chapter 1236 are always a big hit in local parades. The clowns are also willing to help out with the parties put on by Lodge 512 during the holidays. Also, the group volunteers for local charities in Port St. Lucie with face painting, making animal balloons and helping out however they can. Inset: The clowns take a moment for a group shot.
