Salvation Army Appreciates Holiday Kettle Staffers from Batavia, IL Lodge 682

Assistant General Govenor Jerry O'Connor with a young kettle contributor.

> Assistant General Governor Jerry O'Connor accepted a contribution from a youngster this past December as Batavia, IL Lodge 682 staffed The Salvation Army's holiday kettle in front of Wal-Mart in Batavia. Batavia Moose members (and some of their teens and preteens as well) staffed the kettle on four consecutive Saturdays, raising more than $2,400 for The Salvation Army. Salvation Army officials welcome bell-ringer help from Moose units -- and generally don't mind if we have specialized aprons made promoting the Moose as well as the Army.
