It’s a Sure Bet: Vegas is Shaping Up as Our Best Convention Yet

Instead of a Looonng Walk, It’s Just 2 Minutes from Elevators to Meeting Rooms at Bally’s!

> If you enjoy deluxe accommodations, efficient meeting space, and a streamlined schedule—then you’ll like the 2005 Convention in Las Vegas.

If you’ve thought that recent International Conventions provided top-name entertainment—then you’ll like the 2005 Convention in Las Vegas better.

And—if you’re worried about long walks and tired feet due to the distance between the guest rooms and the meeting rooms—then you’ll love the 2005 Convention in Las Vegas!

First off, as you’ll see in the hotel registration information, you’ll notice that all rooms set aside for the Moose are in both of our two top-drawer hotels—Bally’s and Paris—at very reasonable prices; substantially less than the average room rates offered at most top Strip hotels.

Secondly, take a look below at our entertainment lineup for 2005—not just one or two, but three top-name acts (really more than that, when you consider Frankie Avalon, Bobby Rydell and Fabian are all part of one concert)!

Finally, the meeting schedule for both the Loyal Order of Moose and the Women of the Moose is streamlined to deliver important news about the fraternity while leaving time for fellowship with other members from across the continent.

Note also the need-to-know info on both airline arrangements and car rentals.

Take a close look also at our Men’s AND Women’s Registration Form, and you’ll see that it pays to get registered for this Convention early! For registrations received on or before March 1, 2005, we’re holding the fee at last year’s level of $35. For registrations
received between March 2 and May 16, the fee is $50 . . . then, as of May 17 and through to on-site registration in Las Vegas, the fee is $75.

So—take a look at the early plans, get signed up now . . . and we’ll see you in Vegas!

After Hours,3 Big-Name Entertainers!

> BOBBY VINTON performs at the Higher-Degree Event on the Convention’s opening night, Friday, June 17. Dubbed by Billboard magazine the “all-time most successful love-song artist of the Rock Era,” Bobby Vinton won worldwide fame with hits including Roses Are Red, Blue Velvet, Mr. Lonely, Blue on Blue, and My Melody of Love. From 1962 to ’72, no male vocalist had as many No. 1 hits—including Elvis and Sinatra. Tickets for this special evening are just $20 apiece!
> THE CHARLIE DANIELS BAND will perform Sunday night, June 19 as a complimentary treat for qualifying Moose 25 Clubbers and qualifying Women of the Moose sponsors and their guests. Charlie Daniels developed into one of the most venerable acts in American music from blending bluegrass, rhythm & blues and country into his own iconic style. For 40 years, his fiery fiddle has highlighted such hits as The Devil Went Down to Georgia, Long-Haired Country Boy, The South’s Gonna Do It, Still In Saigon, and more recently, his defiant post-9/11 anthem, This Ain’t No Rag, It’s a Flag.
> BOBBY RYDELL, FRANKIE AVALON and FABIAN are three top headliners of the classic rock-and-roll era all rolled into one act, called “The Golden Boys!” They’ll perform at the Convention Extravaganza, Tuesday night, June 21. What you may not know about these three late-’50s-early-’60s heartthrobs is that they grew up together—just three blocks apart in south Philadelphia. All three gained early fame appearing on Dick Clark’s original American Bandstand show (originally broadcast from Philadelphia); Avalon became perhaps the biggest movie star of the three, with Annette Funicello in the early-’60s “Beach” movies. They’ll perform all their hits—Avalon’s Venus and Bobby Sox to Stockings; Rydell’s Volare, Wild One, and Kissin’ Time; and Fabian’s Turn Me Loose, Tiger and I’m a Man. Tickets to this spectacular show are just $25 apiece!
