Delayed an Hour by a Downpour, Then No Power--Just an Opportunity for Neal McCoy To Show the Showman He Is!

> Veteran country star Neal McCoy was supposed to start his show at 8 p.m. Tuesday in the magnificent Pritzker Pavilion in Millennium Park on the lakefront, but the heavens had other ideas, opening up with torrents of rain. The deluge stopped by 8:30 and the show got underway at 9 --albeit with a smaller crowd than hoped. Then the power went out to McCoy’s band’s mikes and instruments.

Instead of leaving the stage, Neal and his boys came to the very front of the stage and performed a couple of old gospel songs with acoustic guitar and fiddles.

Once everything was restored to normal, the exuberant McCoy worked the appreciative crowd.

25 Clubbers Treated to an Evening of Unusual Comedic Talents

The fraternity’s top new-member sponsors were treated to some unique but entertaining acts Sunday night. “Master of Unusual Comedy” Michel Lauziere had the crowd in stitches with his quirky brand of comedy, which ranged from playing classical music with his horn suit, to entering a giant balloon.

“The Passing Zone’s” Jon Wee and Owen Morse dazzled their audience with their impressive juggling skills, which at one point included juggling razor-sharp cutlery both in front and back of the gamely smiling Director General Airey!
