An ‘Extravaganza’ Moose Encore for Oak Ridge Boys

> The venerable Oak Ridge Boys, with their distinctive music of family, home and unabashed patriotism, seem to touch a chord deep in the heart of the Moose—and that was certainly the case at Tuesday night’s Convention Extravaganza, when (from left) Joe Bonsall Jr., Duane Allen, William Lee Golden and Richard Sterban sang their hearts out for more than 3,000 Moose men and women.

But First: A Laugh Riot with John Pinette!

> For the third International Convention in eight years, Moose men and women learned anew that if John Pinette isn’t the funniest guy in the world, he’s pretty close. The rotund Pinette opened for the Oak Ridge Boys with his hilarious nonstop rants about skinny people in line (in front of him) at McDonalds, about the dangers of waterslides, and about how British cuisine, well, isn’t (in his opinion)!
