Territory Manager

  Nine (9) Openings - Membership Department
  Territories currently available: Western Virginia; Mid-Northern Florida (Tampa – Orlando); Mid-Southern Florida (Ft. Myers – Port St. Lucie); Tennessee/Alabama; Northern Michigan; Central Illinois; Southern Illinois; Montana/Wyoming/Utah; South Central California (LA)

 

 

 

 

Job responsibilities:

A multifaceted position with the principle responsibility to assist Moose Lodges in improving their Fraternal and Business operations. Promotes membership growth and the increase of assets for approximately 20 - 35 Lodges. Performs routine visits and, when necessary, detailed examinations of Moose Lodge Operations. Inspects Lodge books and records to ensure proper recordkeeping in support of business (Food & Beverage), fraternal and organizational goals and requirements.  Success is measured by the performance of each assigned Lodge in his/her territory in building an effective management team, increasing active membership, increasing donations to Moose Charities, increasing fraternal programming, decreasing indebtedness to Moose International and building the net equity of the Lodge.

 

requirements:

  • Willing to travel - occasionally requires a week or more away from home, routine visitations typically occur during several evenings each week and on weekends
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong motivational, organization, listening and observation skills
  • Basic computer and Internet skills with knowledge of Windows 7, word processing and spreadsheet software - MSOffice 10 Suite proficiency is preferred
  • Basic understanding of electronic accounting software - QuickBooks Pro is preferred
  • Must learn proprietary Moose Membership Management software
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record. Reliable transportation - use of personal car
  •  

    Desirable:

  • Business Management experience - preferably in Food & Beverage Operations or Territory Management
  • Experience as a Moose Lodge Administrator and/or Governor
  • Prior teaching and/or training experience
  • Knowledge of Loyal Order of Moose laws, policies and procedures
  •
