Lexington Moose Lodge Ensures Safety of Local Law Enforcement

DECEMBER 16th, 2013 - Viatra Baker, Web Content & Social Media Coordinator

At the very core of our fraternal organization lies the symbolic nature of the Moose: a fierce protector, a loyal companion, and a generous provider who brings comfort and security to those within his defending circle. It is with these characteristics in mind that our very own Moose fraternity was formed.

Congratulations to the Lexington Moose Lodge #2511 for their outstanding community service efforts this year. With a donation of 6 ballistic vests to their local police station, the men and women of the Lexington Moose Lodge ensured safety for their community.

Clifford R. Bigler, Chief of Police for the Utica Police Department, praised the men and women of the Lexington Moose as he described what their donation meant for him and his team of officers. He said:

"I absolutely love this vest! The outside carrier matches our uniform and almost looks as if no vest is being worn on the outside. It keeps the dampness and sweat off your body and makes the vest far more comfortable to wear. I want to express my gratitude to Moose Lodge #2511. God Bless all of you for what you do for so many!"

It is efforts like these that allow for our organization to truly Go the Distance. Moose International would like to recognize our members from the Lexington Moose Lodge #2511 for their outstanding efforts - keep up the good work!
