With a helping hand from many community members, such as business owners, Girl Scout troops and various youth groups, the Hopewell Moose Lodge has made it a priority to make sure that those in their local community who need a meal will be fed.
The men and women of the Hopewell Lodge have been working towards this cause for several years now in conjunction with the CHANCE program (Cruisers Helping Abused and Neglected Children Everywhere). At a recent function, over 245 people were fed and presents were given to children whose families are not be able to buy them toys.
Though the adults involved are lending a helping hand, this program aims to get the youth in the community to take charge and become more involved in civic duties.
This is truly outstanding community service work! Congratulations to the Hopewell Moose Lodge on your efforts - keep up the good work!
