The Administrator of the Year is one of the eight Moose International Shining Star categories. Each Regional Manager nominates from one to four Administrators within each of their Associations, dependent upon the total number of Lodges in the Association.
Nominated Administrators are evaluated by Moose International staff and ranked on numerous criteria, including membership growth, timeliness of reporting, attendance at training sessions, Association meetings and the International Moose Convention, and financial stability of their Lodge. The top five Administrators become nominees for the Shining Star Administrator of the Year. The top Administrator receives the Shining Star Award, which is announced during each year's International Moose Convention.
